— A grounded perspective from the fields of AgriculNature
🧭 Introduction: The Promise of ‘Organic’
The word ‘organic’ has become a buzzword — appearing on store shelves, packaging, and premium price tags. In India, it promises health, purity, and a return to natural ways of living.
But what if we told you that much of what’s sold as ‘organic’ is far from truly natural?
At AgriculNature, we believe in transparency over trends. This article shares why we don’t use the label “organic,” and instead follow a deeper, indigenous approach — natural farming, rooted in trust, tradition, and zero compromise.
🚨 The Reality Behind ‘Certified Organic’ in India
India has two major certification systems:
- NPOP (National Programme for Organic Production)
- PGS-India (Participatory Guarantee System)
While the intent is good, ground reality often differs.
Common Issues:
- Third-party certifiers often have limited field checks.
- Residue levels are not tested batch-wise — only once a year or on paper.
- Farmers may use allowed “natural” pesticides that still harm soil balance.
- Big brands contract small farmers and use ‘organic’ as a marketing mask.

🔍 Our View: “Organic” Is a System — Not a Guarantee
We’re not against organic farming. In fact, we respect the effort behind it.
But we’ve chosen not to rely on external certification. Why?
Because we believe trust can’t be packaged.
We invite you to see how we grow — open fields, not sealed labels.
🌱 What We Follow Instead: Natural Farming (ZBNF)
At AgriculNature, we follow Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) and other Bharatiya Krishi traditions, which are:
- 🌾 Chemical-free from seed to harvest
- 🐄 Jeevamrut-based nourishment (made from desi cow dung + urine)
- 🌿 Mulching and soil aeration for long-term fertility
- 🔄 Local seed preservation and crop rotation
This is not a certification — it’s a sadhana (discipline). And every visitor can see it firsthand.
🤝 Trust the Farmer, Not the Label
We don’t hide behind green stamps.
We welcome you to walk our fields, see our soil, meet our cows, and ask us anything.
Because in India, the real guarantee has never been a barcode —
It has always been a farmer’s word.
